Northeastern Mental Health Center licenses therapeutic foster care homes and trains the foster parents. The therapeutic foster care home provides an environment conducive to the physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth and well-being of youth up to the age 17. Along with providing ongoing individualized training for the foster parents, Northeastern Mental Health Center clinicians provide therapy and case management services to foster care youth in placement to ensure that the needs of the child are met.
