If you or a loved one are experiencing a mental health crisis, one of our counselors will be there to help. Northeastern Mental Health Center offers crisis response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Dial 988 or contact our crisis line counselor at (605) 229-1000.

We also provide crisis response for those who are deaf, hard of hearing and for those with speech disabilities who use a TTY. Please call (800) 799-4889.

Crisis Counseling

Northeastern Mental Health Center recognizes that a crisis can happen at any time, and can unexpectedly affect the lives of individuals living and working within our community. In the event an emergency or tragic event occurs, we would like to be there to help. We can offer crisis counseling to individuals, families, workplaces, first responders, and community groups in the aftermath of the event.
